Yamaha Fazer FZ8 Specifications and Features With Wallpapers
The FZ8R should tip the scales at about 220 kg, making it a heavy bike, which is about 4.5 kg heavier than the FZ8 naked version. The FZ8 is looking very similar to the Yamaha FZ1, with the 800 cc motor also rumoured to be based on the bigger bike. We could be looking at 120 hp, and torque is expected to be impressive as well.
With its cast aluminium chassis (that uses the engine as a stressed member) and swingarm, 43mm USD fork, adjustable monoshock rear suspension that uses a progressive linkage and twin 310mm brake discs up front with four-piston monobloc callipers, the FZ8 / Fazer8 looks like an all-around capable package. The bike, according to Yamaha, has been designed who want something with a bit more power than a 600 and that’s not as intimidating as a full-house litre-class machine.
As for the engine the few leaked information involved suggests a reduction in engine capacity from 1,000 cc to 800 through the bore sizing, with the same run. The waiver in terms of power, compared to 150 hp declared for the FZ1, should be the order of 30, maximum 40 horses, in demonstrating the new average naked Iwata between 110 and 120 bhp tree.

2011 Chevrolet Volt Specifications and Review
The 2011 Chevrolet Volt makes its debut as General Motors first plug-in gas/electric vehicle. It is slated to see limited production in calendar 2010, with launches in California, Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Washington, DC. Nationwide availability is slated for late-calendar 2011. GM calls this 4-passenger, 4-door hatchback
an "extended-range electric vehicle" in that it does not work like most hybrids. With many hybrids, their gasoline engines and battery-powered electric motors can provide power to the drive wheels. With Volt, the wheels are always driven by electricity, provided either by the onboard battery or gasoline engine that powers a generator. The car can plug in to a standard household outlet and charge overnight.
A high-output 240-volt charging station will be available that should cut charging time roughly in half. Chevy claims a range of 40 miles solely on a fully charged battery and about 340 miles when the gasoline engine is used. The gas engine is an 80-horsepower 1.4-liter 4-cylinder. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, front-side airbags, and driver and passenger knee airbags. Among the available features are a remote-charging and vehicle-control program that owners can download and run from Blackberry and Apple iPhone cell phones. A navigation system is standard, as is a hard drive for storing digital-music files. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, front- and rear-obstacle detection, and a rearview camera are optional. We have not yet tested the 2011 Chevrolet Volt.

Q5 Hybrid Quattro, Audi requested to bid a hybrid model that refined the typical Audi sportiness. The new model is said to be the pioneer of electric mobility for Audi. It combines a 2.0L TFSI petrol engine with a high-performance 33 kilowatt electric motor. When driven at less than 37mph, the electric motor offers an autonomy of 1.86 miles.
Under the bonnet is Audi’s turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-litre TFSI unit, good for 208bhp and 258lb ft, the latter available from 1500 to 4200rpm. There’s no manual ‘box or dual-clutch transmission, but an eight-speed automatic, with a disk-shaped electric motor in place of the torque converter. The motor itself produces 33kW and 155lb ft, and also acts as a starter motor and a generator. The total output for the system is 241bhp and 354lb ft.
The result is 40.4mpg and sub-160g/km CO2, plus 0-62mph in 7.1 seconds, 138mph flat out. Not gobsmacked? Then remember that this is a car primarily designed for the diesel-despising USA. For comparisons sake, a non-hybrid 2.0 TFSI with an S-tronic transmission (what American will opt for a stick-shift SUV?) manages 7.2sec, 137mph, 32.8mpg and 199g/km. And the important figures match or best an auto-equipped 2.0 TDI’s 40.4mpg and 184g/km.

The reason, which made two-door car combines an electric machine with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine equipped with a supercharger that can produce maximum power and torque of each of up to 197bhp and 158 lb-ft and can still be increased 75bhp and 30 lb-ft.
For brake technology, this vehicle has five new ways to do the braking, the front brakes are more powerful (size 320mm ventilated discs and grooved with four pot front calipers) and weights 52 kilograms lighter than the standard CR-z.
The resulting speed of this car is very impressive. Growl of the electric machine was fun to hear on some of the torque produced.
Meksipun sixth gear acceleration was a little disappointing, cornering ability of this car was more powerful than the standard CR-Z, and in terms of composurenya entertain and closer to the range of Honda Type-R.
